Steppin' On Up

I revived a small wooden stool a few months back and thought it would be fun to share the before and after pictures. 

It was a pretty straight forward project, all it took was a few coats of paint and some TLC. I was pretty much winging it the whole time with the design concept. But I'm SO glad that I decided to use a variety of paint colors. I created the navy blue stripes with the use of masking tape to achieve perfectly symmetrical lines. Easy peasy.

Isn't it amazing what a little paint and a brush can do?
